indigenous art and artistic strategies. In this exhibition, we explore new forms of collective work between artists who belong to indigenous communities and artists and fashion designers who work with them, in the most respectful and supportive way, recognizing new forms of artistic strategies. The works in this exhibition cross fashion, sound, photography and sculpture.

We are deeply grateful to the artists who from different parts of the world sent us the pieces, with a particular joy and generosity. Postcommodity created an exclusive sound piece for this exhibition. Curated by Alexandra Meffert and Jorge Sanguino.

An essay written by Jorge Sanguino that accompanies this exhibition will be published soon in the academic publication “(Neo-)Extraktivismen in der Kunst der Gegenwart” Edited Prof. Dr. Birgit Mersmann and Dr. Hauke Ohls. Proudly being the first essay on these new artistic practices in the German academic field. Thanking both editors for their help and curiosity in bringing this kind of topics to the academic environment.
