To Produce the Sound of Falling Stones explored new forms of collective practice between artists from Indigenous communities and artists and fashion designers working with them through respectful, supportive collaboration. The exhibition brought together fashion, sound, photography and sculpture.

The exhibition considered how collective artistic strategies can move across disciplines while recognising the knowledge, authorship and agency of Indigenous collaborators. Works arrived from different parts of the world with exceptional generosity; Postcommodity created an exclusive sound piece for the exhibition.

The project formed part of Düsseldorf Photo+. A related essay by Jorge Sanguino accompanies the exhibition and is scheduled for publication in (Neo-)Extraktivismen in der Kunst der Gegenwart, edited by Prof. Dr. Birgit Mersmann and Dr. Hauke Ohls.
