Art Vilnius

ArtVilnius 2024, 15 years. In this anniversary edition of ArtVilnius, wildpalms is pleased to present a curated booth featuring Rachel Libeskind, Nika Fontaine and Mauricio Limón de León.

The works on display have been selected from the last five years and connect the archives of her exhibitions in Düsseldorf, the Hamptons and New York. These have defined her collage practice and challenged artistic practices from Hanna Höch to Robert Rauschenberg. We are pleased to present wood paintings by Mauricio, which accompanied his recent exhibition in Amsterdam. We are also exhibiting paintings by Nika from her latest series, “Dissolution,” which she has been developing for over three years. This series continues to explore the language of alchemy.

We are delighted to invite you to our upcoming art fair, where three truly inspiring artists will be showcasing their incredible work. What unites these talented individuals is their heartfelt exploration of some of the most fundamental aspects of our humanity – think memory, religion, spirituality and the many layers that define us within our societies.

Each artist delves deep into these core themes, offering unique perspectives that make you stop and think. But what really sets their work apart is the delightful sense of humour that runs through each piece. It’s amazing how they balance profound themes with moments of lightness and wit, creating art that resonates on multiple levels.
