\u201cThere is something to be said for the female ability to push boundaries in what media is and what mediums are. Historically, paintings are a very male thing. I think in some ways, either consciously or unconsciously, I\u2019m responding to that.\u201d<\/p>\n

American Gothic: An Original Opera<\/a><\/p>\n

Rachel has created a multi media installation for\u00a0 American Gothic, an original four-part opera, which opens October 21st at Pioneer Works in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The show will run the 21st, 22nd and 23rd of October at 8:00pm each night.<\/p>\n
